About the venue
Paviljoen Gouden Duin sits right on the beach near Scheveningen, with a wooden terrace looking out over the sea where the ceremony takes place whenever the tide and the weather cooperate. In hard wind or rain the party moves indoors, where the glass front keeps the same view.
The kitchen runs under chef-owner Robert Hoekstra and is built around fresh fish and shellfish, backed by a fixed meat option for guests who do not eat seafood. The pavilion seats 110 to 190 guests, has its own bar and sound system, and Robert usually replies within three days.
