Terms of use

Last updated: 4 July 2026

These terms of use apply to your use of the Walima Weddings website. Multiculti Weddings is a service of VirtualFriends, based in the Netherlands. By using the website you agree to these terms.

About Walima Weddings

Walima Weddings is a platform where you can find, compare and reach out to wedding venues that fit your culture. We are anintermediary: we put couples and venues in touch, but we are not ourselves a party to any agreement you enter into with a venue. You arrange bookings, prices and services directly with the venue.

Using the website

You may use the website only for its intended purpose. In particular, you may not:

Inquiries and contacting venues

When you request a quote, we forward your details to the venue you selected so they can contact you directly. We cannot guarantee that a venue will respond, will be available, or will offer any particular price or quality. Any agreement that results is an agreement between you and the venue.

Venues and their information

Venues are responsible for the information on their own profiles. We do our best to keep listings up to date, but we cannot guarantee that all information is accurate, complete or current. Listing a venue is not an endorsement or recommendation.

Intellectual property

The content of the website — text, design, logos and images — belongs to VirtualFriends or to the relevant venues. You may not copy or reuse it without permission.

Liability

We compile the website with care but provide it ‘as is’. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from the use of the website or from a venue's services. Disputes about a venue's services are resolved directly with that venue.

Privacy

How we handle your personal data is set out in our privacy policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when we last changed them. The current version is always on this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
