About the venue
Naima and Bilal El Yacoubi married themselves in a rented marquee on a meadow before buying this derelict villa on the Loolaan in 2019 and spending three years restoring it; the villa itself, with its tall stuccoed ceilings, now serves as the reception space, while the party takes place in a garden hall built onto the rear facade. The Veluwe forest begins right behind the lawn.
The venue suits 90 to 220 guests, split across villa, garden hall and a marquee on the lawn in good weather. Naima personally handles the styling and usually replies within a day; she works with a fixed neggafa from Nijmegen for the outfit changes during the party. Free parking on the grounds, a fully alcohol-free bar and a separate room for the bride are included as standard.
