About the venue
Restaurant Sarajevo Tafel was opened by Amina Hodžić, who brought her grandmother's Bosnian cooking to Leiden: ćevapi off the grill, warm somun bread straight from the oven, and a baklava counter that opens during dessert. The outdoor grill sits in plain view of the terrace, so guests watch the grilling happen.
The hall and terrace together seat 65 to 140 guests. Amina speaks Dutch and English, can arrange an engagement evening with the same menu on request, and usually replies within two days. No alcohol is served, catering comes entirely from the in-house kitchen, and parking at the venue is free.
