About the venue
Hotel Konak Sarayi opened in 2014 on the Peizerweg, in a business area with many Turkish and Moroccan entrepreneurs, and the ground-floor ballroom has been set up for weddings with live davul-zurna or a DJ from day one. The first floor is kept fully alcohol-free, including the welcome drink at the door.
The hall suits 180 to 320 guests and has its own halal kitchen with a separate grill for on-site meat. Manager Mehmet Yildiz usually replies within a day, speaks Turkish with most visiting families, and arranges a separate entrance for the bridal procession so it does not have to pass through the hotel lobby. There are 60 hotel rooms above the hall, free parking, and no sound limit until midnight.
