About the venue
Zonnebloem Sabha takes its name from the street it stands on and carries that name inside too: yellow reappears everywhere, from the curtains to the table runners, and on sunny afternoons light falls straight through the bay windows into the hall. The hall is deliberately kept small for engagements and intimate weddings of 60 to 120 guests, rather than competing on guest count.
Owner Shanti Bhagwandin personally decorates the mandap corner with fresh marigolds for every booking, and usually replies within 1 day. The hall has a small garden at the back where the henna evening is regularly held, serves its own catering, and offers free parking on the street.
