About the venue
Until a few years ago, Woonboot Lindegracht was simply someone's home, and it still feels that way: a real living room with a wood stove, a narrow staircase up to the roof terrace, and windows looking out over the Lindengracht rather than a hall dressed up for the occasion. That's exactly what makes it suit couples who want a handful of loved ones rather than a big room.
The living room and rooftop terrace together hold 25 to 40 guests, and owner Sanne Dijkstra, who lived on the boat herself for years before converting it into a wedding venue, usually replies the same day. She can arrange a small catering team to work in the tiny galley on request, and the wood stove stays lit year-round whenever the weather calls for it.
