About the venue
Watertoren Events occupies a ninety-year-old water tower that was still genuinely in service into the 1990s; the riveted steel reservoir at the top has been left intact and now forms the ceiling of the main space, fourteen metres above the floor. The building is round rather than rectangular, which makes the silhouette of every layout different from a standard hall.
The venue hosts 120 to 220 guests, spread across the ground floor and a mezzanine overlooking the main space. Event coordinator Bram Kuiper usually replies within two days and works with a fixed list of outside caterers since there is no in-house kitchen. The building is pillar-free, has no curfew on sound, and offers free parking next to the tower.
