About the venue
Villa Radha was bought in the nineties by Ashwin Bhagwandin's grandparents, who turned the walled garden behind the house into a ceremony space while the villa itself kept serving as the reception area. Ashwin now runs it together with his mother, and the name Radha, chosen by his grandmother, still stands in ornamental letters above the original front door.
The villa suits 60 to 110 guests, split between the garden in good weather and the reception rooms inside as a backup. Ashwin usually replies within two days and works with a regular cook who prepares traditional deg dishes in an outdoor kitchen on the side of the house. Free parking on-site, a separate room for the engagement ceremony, and a sound system with no curfew are included.
