About the venue
Villa Marokana is built around a central, tiled courtyard modeled on a Moroccan riad: zellige tiles on the floor, carved wooden doors, and a fountain that stays audible throughout the celebration. The main hall wraps around this courtyard, so guests always keep sight of the heart of the building.
The venue seats 240 to 500 guests and is fully set up for Moroccan wedding tradition: a neggafa guides the bride through her costume changes, the amariya carrying chair is used for the entrance, and the venue's own mechoui pit outside roasts the lamb the traditional way. Venue manager Yasmine El Ouali speaks Darija, Arabic and Dutch and usually replies within two days.
