About the venue
Villa de Zonnehof is a nineteenth-century villa on the edge of Amersfoort, restored with its original stucco ceilings intact and a glass orangery that serves as the central reception space. In good weather guests move out onto the lawn, where a marquee can go up for an outdoor ceremony with the villa as the backdrop, and in rain the orangery itself remains a full alternative.
The villa holds 60 to 150 guests, has its own kitchen for dinner service, and a separate bridal suite on the first floor. Venue manager Sanne Buijtelaar usually replies within two days and actively helps plan how the garden and orangery are laid out on the day itself.
