About the venue
Tuinkamer Hazrat Gul is a glass extension behind a villa on the Singel, named after the rose variety the current owner's mother once grew in her garden in Herat. The space is a single round garden room glazed floor to ceiling, surrounded by a small rose garden that blooms alongside the celebration in summer.
Owner Latifa Rahimi arranges the flower displays herself using roses from her own garden and usually replies within two days. There is room for 18 to 42 guests, the hall is fully alcohol-free, and a small outbuilding next to the garden room provides cover for the outdoor tables in rain.
