About the venue
Sundari Loft Events is a former workshop in the Binckhorst district converted into an event hall without polishing away its industrial character: the steel beams and exposed brick stay put, and the mandap is set directly against them rather than tucked away. The combination draws mostly younger Hindostani couples who want a traditional ceremony without the classic gold-and-chandelier look.
The hall seats 140 to 240 guests and is set up with round tables on an otherwise open floor. Owner Deepak Chander designs a custom lighting plan for every wedding that blends industrial and traditional elements, and usually replies within 2 days. Outside decorators and additional lighting plans are welcome, and the hall has its own bar and DJ setup.
