About the venue
Sultana Bruidszaal is one of the largest Turkish banquet halls in Den Haag, built around a lit walkway that gives the gelin yolu a real entrance and an open floor that can carry the entire halay chain without guests having to step aside. The hall also hosts the kına gecesi, with a separate, smaller room kept apart from the main hall for that night.
With room for 300 to 500 guests, this is one of the largest venues in this list, with its own kitchen, a keskek cauldron for the traditional wedding stew, and a Turkish coffee station running all evening. Hall manager Emre Kaya speaks Turkish and usually replies within a day; the hall is fully alcohol-free as fixed policy.
