About the venue
Strandpaviljoen Zilte Belofte sits right on the sand at Scheveningen with an uninterrupted view out to sea, and rents out both halves of that setting together: the open terrace on the beach itself and the covered pavilion behind it as the fallback the moment the weather turns. A sunset ceremony on the sand is the classic booking, with dinner moving indoors afterward.
The setting is especially suited to a mesa di dushi table — the Antillean dessert spread — laid out as the sun drops into the sea, says event coordinator Tamara Martina, who usually replies within a day. A barbecue dinner option puts the cooking outdoors on the terrace. Up to 150 guests fit with terrace and pavilion combined, and there's no curfew.
