About the venue
Strand Havenzicht sits directly on the bank of the Zaan, with a wooden jetty reaching well into the water and facing due west. Couples who choose an outdoor ceremony marry on the jetty as the sun sets behind the industrial harbours, with the beach pavilion as immediate rain backup.
The venue works for 100 to just over 300 guests and runs its own bar and kitchen, backed by a large covered terrace for when the party carries on after sunset. Venue manager Wouter Bakker usually replies within a day and can arrange a separate beach ceremony apart from the dinner on request, with free parking close to the entrance.
