About the venue
Slot Eikenburg was converted in the 1960s from a neglected manor house into a banqueting castle, its ballroom built up to full roof height precisely to host large parties. Where many castles stay deliberately small, Eikenburg chose the opposite: a kitchen that can handle 300 covers at once and a pillar-free ballroom with an unobstructed sightline.
The hall suits 80 to 300 guests, with a separate foyer for the reception and an outdoor terrace by the pond. Venue manager Femke van Rijn sends a tailored floor plan within a day and prefers working with a set list of caterers who already know the kitchen. An in-house sound system, a coat check, and a wheelchair-accessible entrance are all standard.
