About the venue
Sitara Mahal Eventzaal is a Hindostani event hall in Rotterdam whose name, "star palace", comes from the lit ceiling above the raised mandap stage where the marriage itself is performed. Next to the main hall sits a separate tea ceremony room, so that ritual does not have to wait for the main hall to be reset.
Owner Priya Autar sets the hall up with round banquet tables instead of long rows on request, and runs the catering from an in-house kitchen. The hall seats 180 to 240 guests, has its own bar and DJ, and Priya usually replies within two days.
