About the venue
The Sint-Elisabethkerk on Beekstraat was deconsecrated in 2009 after two parishes merged, then restored a decade later into an event venue. The nave stands 14 metres high on marble columns; the organ above the entrance is still used during ceremonies, and the confessionals have been converted into a quiet space for prayer.
The hall is built for large parties, with 250 guests as its floor and room for 500 at round tables. Manager Amina Chaoui has worked there since it opened and usually replies the same day; she can coordinate a crew that sets up and strikes the hall in two shifts for anyone wanting both the nikah and a large evening party in one day. The kitchen is fully halal-certified and there is a separate entrance for the bridal car.
