About the venue
Shri Mandap Paleis in Almere is built around the physical demands of a Hindostani wedding rather than adapted after the fact: the stage is tall and wide enough for a full mandap structure with clearance overhead, and the main entrance sets aside real space for tassa drummers to lead a procession in. A dressing room lets the bride put on her sari without rushing.
The hall seats up to 300, with an in-house commercial kitchen and staff who speak Hindoestaans alongside Dutch. Event manager Priya Autar usually replies within a day; the venue provides the stage and entrance, and your own decorator builds the mandap. Unlike some alcohol-free halls, this one keeps a full bar running.
