About the venue
Rijnstrand As-Salaam has rented a fixed spot on the popular urban beach along the Nederrijn for four years, with its own fenced-off stretch of sand and a marquee kept separate from the bars further along. The river forms the backdrop for the ceremony, and the sound of the ferry crossing is part of every plechtigheid held here.
Owner Yasmin Haddad usually replies within one day and can arrange a neggafa for the bridal entrance on request. The venue runs fully alcohol-free, has its own prayer room inside the marquee, and works with a halal caterer who blends Moroccan and Turkish dishes. In storms the party moves to a hall a few streets away, included in the rental price.
