About the venue
Rijhal De Ruiterhoeve is the covered riding arena of an equestrian estate just outside Zwolle, where the sand floor is boarded over with a wooden dance floor for weddings. The hall has no pillars at all and a thirty-metre clear span, wide enough for the gelin yolu, the lit walkway used to bring the couple in, and for a full circle at the halay. In the stable yard behind the hall, the cauldron for the overnight communal cooking of keşkek is set up at night.
The hall seats 350 guests and a package starts from 10,800 euros. The party can run until 02:00, and staff speak Turkish alongside Dutch. Event coordinator Elif Duman usually replies within two days.
