About the venue
Restaurant Marrakech Nights sits on the West-Kruiskade in Rotterdam and has a separate function room next to the regular restaurant that is closed off entirely for weddings. Behind the room lies a courtyard with hand-painted lanterns on the walls, where the couple and guests take photos after the ceremony as the evening light fades.
The catering centres on tagine, served straight from the traditional cone-shaped dishes, with a mechoui grill on offer for anyone who wants a whole roasted lamb on the menu. The room seats 90 to 150 guests and runs fully alcohol-free; instead, the house pours fresh mint tea all evening. Owner Yasmina Chraibi speaks Arabic, French and Dutch and usually replies within three days.
