About the venue
Restaurant Lahore Mahal opened ten years ago as a regular eatery and grew naturally into a banquet hall once enough diners started asking whether the whole place could be booked for a wedding too. The tandoor sits in plain view next to the hall, so naan bread reaches the table straight from the oven, and biryani is finished in large pots on site.
The hall seats 80 to 180 guests, split between a main room and a smaller side room used as the bridal suite. Owner Imran Chaudhry speaks Urdu, English and Dutch, usually replies within two days, and can arrange an extensive mehndi evening ahead of the wedding on request. Catering comes entirely from the in-house kitchen, there is no alcohol, and parking at the venue is free.
