About the venue
Restaurant Bosrand sits literally on the edge of the forest north of Apeldoorn and runs weddings on the same tasting menu the restaurant serves year-round, adjusted in course count to the couple's wishes. There is no separate wedding menu, which means the kitchen does exactly what it is already good at rather than making an exception for one day.
The guest list stays deliberately small, from 50 guests, and the dining room looks straight into the forest through glass walls, with a small terrace serving as the smoking area and break spot. Chef-owner Jasper Terlouw builds the menu himself after a get-to-know meeting and usually replies within two days.
