About the venue
Qasr Al Yasmin is the largest house on this list: a Moroccan palace hall in Rotterdam-Zuid, built around a central domed ballroom with hand-cut zellige tilework and its own outdoor mechoui pit, where a whole lamb roasts for the guests as the hall fills up. The hall splits into one large ballroom and two smaller reception rooms, so an amariya procession, a henna night and the main ceremony can run separately without guests crossing paths.
Seating 320 up to well over 500, this is the hall for the very biggest Moroccan and Islamic weddings we list. Hall coordinator Yassine El Amrani, who usually replies within a day, speaks Arabic, French and Tamazight and guides families through the full programme from neggafa to zaffa. A prayer room, wudu facilities and a fully alcohol-free policy are standard.
