About the venue
Paleis Zam Zam is a grand banquet hall in Den Haag, designed after Moroccan tradition: the foyer is fully tiled in handmade zellige in blue and green, and behind the hall sits its own outdoor pit where the lamb for the mechoui is slow-roasted. Guests literally walk through the tilework before the evening even starts.
The hall seats up to 320 across the main room and a smaller space for the henna night, with its own neggafa room for the bride’s outfit changes. Venue manager Yasmine El Amrani speaks Arabic and French and usually replies within two days; the house is fully alcohol-free and the kitchen works exclusively with its own caterer.
