About the venue
Paleis Tanger was built in 2021 on a former industrial site, specifically for families who want to invite three generations at once: grandparents, parents, children and in-laws from across the country. The two halls combine into one space via a movable wall, under a ceiling of thousands of LED points that mimic the pattern of a Moroccan zellige tile.
The palace suits 300 to 550 guests and has a separate access route for catering vans, apart from the guest entrance. Venue manager Hicham Idrissi sends a detailed run sheet in advance and usually replies within a day; he works with a fixed roster of external caterers who cook halal to the family's specifications. Free parking for hundreds of cars, a stage with professional lighting and a sound system with no curfew are all part of the standard set-up.
