About the venue
Paleis Kohinoor is named after the famous diamond and builds that sense of grandeur into the room itself: the ceiling above the main hall is finished in gold leaf, and three chandeliers hang over the mandap stage. It is the largest venue of its kind in the area and is built explicitly for Hindostani weddings that stretch across multiple days, from the first haldi to the final reception.
The hall seats 320 to 500 guests, split across two separable halls sharing one foyer. Director Rajesh Panday keeps a dedicated events team to coordinate multi-day bookings and usually replies within 1 day. A full bar, an in-house DJ rig with no curfew, a tandoor setup in the kitchen, and wheelchair accessibility come with every booking.
