About the venue
Pakhuis Nur was a bicycle factory until 2010 and has been known since then for the narrow windows running the length of the facade, which cast a line of afternoon light across the floor. Zeynep Arslan and her husband bought the building four years ago and kept the hall deliberately small: no second room, no renting out multiple spaces at once, just one hall for one wedding per weekend.
Zeynep usually replies within one day, often herself over Instagram, and works with a small fixed team of three halal caterers from the city. The hall is fully alcohol-free, has its own warm-up kitchen, and holds 100 to 150 guests, just enough for a wedding where everyone still knows each other.
