About the venue
Pakhuis Bosphorus was a leather tannery until the 1990s and stood half-empty afterwards, until a group of investors bought the building five years ago and converted the raw brick hall into an event space without polishing off its industrial edges. The high roof trusses and the wide loading door at the front, big enough to drive a car through, were kept deliberately in the design.
Manager Serkan Yılmaz knows most of the regular caterers in Breda's Turkish community personally and usually replies within two days. The hall is large enough to let a davul-zurna procession play through in full, has no sound limit, and allows the use of your own mechoui or keskek cauldron on the outdoor grounds.
