About the venue
Pakhuis Anadolu was a working grain warehouse until the 1980s, and the two original loading cranes still hang from the ceiling above the dance floor, now fitted with warm light instead of pulleys. The brick facade and cast-iron columns remain intact; the rest of the hall is open and flexibly laid out.
The hall seats 180 to 320 guests and has its own halal canteen with room for a mobile mechoui oven on request. Owner Hakan Öztürk, who grew up in the neighbourhood, often personally arranges contact with local davul-zurna players and usually replies the same day. A separate bridal suite, free parking along the quay, and a sound system with no curfew come with every booking.
