About the venue
Pakhuis Al Manzil housed a regional newspaper's printing presses until 2009, and the loading doors where paper rolls once entered now open onto a fenced outdoor area with a fixed mechoui pit. The hall itself is tall and rectangular, with a raised platform at one end for the bride's amariya arrival.
The hall seats 140 to 260 guests and has its own halal kitchen, expanded with extra gas burners for large-batch tajines. Manager Yassmina Bouazza speaks French, Arabic, and Dutch, can arrange a neggafa for outfit changes on request, and usually replies within a day. Free parking, an all-female service team on request, and a fully alcohol-free policy come with the package.
