About the venue
The fundraising drive for this hall began in 2013 with a collection box at the back of the mosque and grew into a project hundreds of families contributed to for years; the hall finally opened in 2023 as one of the largest Islamic event venues in the Apeldoorn region. The dome above the main hall is painted with a geometric pattern echoing the ceiling of the mosque itself.
The hall suits 180 to 380 guests and has its own prayer room with wudu facilities right beside the main entrance. Board member Omar Chakiri coordinates the rentals alongside his mosque duties and usually replies within two days; he can arrange separate entrances for men and women for mixed families on request. Free parking for two hundred cars, a fully alcohol-free policy and an in-house commercial kitchen are among the fixed amenities.
