About the venue
Mandir Mahal is built around a fixed mandap at the centre of the hall, so the ceremony stays the focal point rather than a temporary setup squeezed between two dinner services. Next to the main hall sits a separate room designed specifically for the tea ceremony, with its own tea-ceremony chairs and a matching tea set, so that part of the day never has to give way to the rest of the programme.
The hall seats 280 guests and is reachable straight from the street, where dhol drummers may lead the baraat in on arrival with no volume restriction. Hall coordinator Rekha Sharman speaks Hindoestaans and Dutch and usually replies within two days; an on-site tandoor is available for catering and free parking is provided for guests.
