About the venue
Loft Noordkade occupies a 1920s warehouse that was still in use for the canal-side livestock trade until recently, and the renovation has deliberately left that visible: the steel freight lift still serves as the entrance to the first floor, and the cast-iron columns and timber beams remain uncovered. The result is an industrial space with no dressing applied, exactly as the couples who choose this venue want it.
The loft suits 120 to 300 guests and has no columns interrupting the floor, allowing a free layout of the hall. Venue host Bram Kuiper usually replies within a day and arranges the permit for live music without a curfew himself, with a roof terrace as the fallback spot for drinks.
