About the venue
Landhuis Kennemerduin stands on one of the higher dune ridges west of Haarlem, looking out over the bulb fields on one side and the dunes on the other. The nineteenth-century greenhouse, originally built for growing grapes, has been converted into a conservatory and serves as a bright, glazed extension of the great hall.
Owner Willem-Jan Post inherited the house from his parents and has rented it out for weddings for eight years, with a small chapel on the grounds for the church ceremony ahead of the celebration. He usually replies within two days. The great hall and the greenhouse together seat 140 to 300 guests, with an in-house kitchen, a bar that is not mandatory, and free parking at the foot of the ridge.
