About the venue
Landhuis Duinrand stands where the dune landscape gives way to the bulb fields, and the glasshouse added in 1889 to help the gardener through winter is now the heart of the reception hall. Its glass walls look out over the kitchen garden, which still supplies vegetables and herbs for the kitchen today.
Event manager Marieke Ligthart builds a menu for every couple around whatever the kitchen garden yields that month, and usually replies within two days. The glasshouse and the adjoining hall together seat 130 to 280 guests, with an in-house kitchen, a bar that is not mandatory, live music permitted, and free parking in front of the house.
