About the venue
The pond at Landgoed Vijverstate was laid out in the nineteenth century and still forms the centrepiece of the estate. The covered waterside terrace is the fixed ceremony spot, looking out over the pond and the old weeping willows on the far bank, while the dance hall further along stands ready as a rain-proof replacement without anything needing to be converted.
Estate manager Bas Hulshof usually replies within two days and only decides on the day itself whether the ceremony stays outside or moves inside, based on the forecast. Starting at 100 guests, with an in-house kitchen, a bar that is not mandatory, and free parking along the driveway.
