About the venue
Twenty years ago, Landgoed De Wildhoeve deliberately chose not to keep its garden clipped but let it run semi-wild, with long grass, wildflowers and self-seeded trees that have since grown tall. The barn, once used for hay and tools, has been converted into a reception hall with the original wooden trusses still visible above the tables.
Manager Pieter Dekker arranges a short blessing on request in the small chapel at the edge of the grounds and usually replies within two days. The barn seats 70 to 180 guests, with an in-house kitchen, a bar that is not mandatory, live music permitted into the late hours, and free parking on the meadow beside the driveway.
