About the venue
Kraaiven Strandlodge sits on the recreational lake north of Tilburg, where there is no sea but there is a real sandy beach with a timber jetty that carries the lodge out over the water. The ceremony can take place on the jetty with the lake as backdrop, and the party then moves onto the covered terrace.
Owner Marloes van Beek runs the lodge with her sister and usually replies within one day; she can arrange a dedicated barbecue cook for dinner on request. The lodge seats 120 to 220 guests, has a licensed bar, and in poor weather there is a heated indoor hall right next to the terrace.
