About the venue
Khorshid Tuinzaal has served Afghan-Dutch weddings in Tilburg for over ten years, with a garden set up as an extension of the main hall and a separate room used only for the buraanbur, so that part of the celebration keeps its own intimate atmosphere apart from the main party. A takht stage is set up as standard for the couple, and the kitchen cooks deg dishes on site rather than delivering them ready-made.
Built with 220 guests as its floor, the hall suits large families and offers a fully separate entrance for those who prefer it, with its own prayer room next to the main hall. Manager Ahmad Sultani speaks Farsi/Dari and usually replies within three days; the garden also serves as the spot for the engagement ceremony in good weather.
