About the venue
Kerk De Lichtburcht was deconsecrated in 1994 and stood empty for two decades before owner Karim Idrissi bought the building and turned it into an event venue. The stained-glass windows and the tall timber vault survive; the former sacristy is now a quiet prayer room with a wudu basin, a short walk from the reception floor.
The hall suits 150 to 320 guests and is rented out year-round for nikahs and receptions. Karim usually replies within two days and can arrange a fully halal catering team working out of the former side chapel, now fitted out as a commercial kitchen. Free parking lines the singel, there is a separate entrance for the bride, and the sound system runs with no curfew.
