About the venue
Hotel Zuiderpoort sits in the office tower of the same name by Groningen station, and its second-floor ballroom is designed pillar-free so nothing ever stands between the couple and their guests. The sky lounge on the fifteenth floor, glass-walled all around, is reserved as standard for the welcome drinks at larger weddings.
The ballroom suits 200 to 450 guests and can be split into two smaller halls with a sliding wall. Sales manager Tom Hendriks usually replies within two days and has experience with weddings that bring several languages and traditions together in one programme. The hotel has 180 rooms, its own DJ setup with no sound limit, and valet parking at the entrance.
