About the venue
Hotel Prinses Marmara opened in 2021 in a former office building next to Breda station and within two years became the go-to venue for young Turkish-Dutch couples wanting a reception that looks more like an Amsterdam rooftop bar than a traditional ballroom. The reception hall on the tenth floor has glass facades all round and a city view that joins the atmosphere after dark.
Sales and events manager Bilal Aydın usually replies within one day over WhatsApp and specialises in combining a Dutch-style borrel with a later Turkish-style evening including a DJ and halay. The hall has its own bar with alcohol-free cocktails as a standing option alongside the regular menu, an in-house DJ, and a sound system with no curfew until 01:00.
