About the venue
Hotel Parkzicht is a business hotel on weekdays overlooking the Stadswandelpark, and a wedding venue on weekends: the conference room is converted into a ballroom with its own dance floor, and the meeting foyer serves as the reception space for the welcome drink. The park stays visible from almost every corner of the hall, even though the ceremony itself takes place indoors.
The hall seats 240 guests, with 60 hotel rooms directly above it so guests travelling from afar do not need to go home. Events manager Bram Willemsen, who usually replies within a day, always schedules the conference-to-ballroom conversion for the Friday so everything is ready by Saturday morning. Air conditioning, an in-house kitchen and full wheelchair access are standard.
