About the venue
Hotel Marmara Suites is a four-star hotel in central Rotterdam that treats a wedding as a weekend rather than an evening: the ballroom under its chandeliers is the centrepiece, and a dedicated prayer room with wudu facilities sits off it, built with the Turkish and Muslim weddings in mind that make up most of its bookings. The guest rooms around it complete the picture.
The ballroom holds up to 300 seated guests, set up for a private nikah as well as a henna night with its own commercial kitchen. A bridal suite lets the couple get ready on-site and doubles as overnight accommodation for them and nearest family. Sales and events manager Emre Yıldız speaks Turkish and English and usually replies within a day.
