About the venue
Hotel Konak Breda is a 1930s townhouse the Şahin family bought twelve years ago and renovated room by room into a small nine-suite hotel. The walled courtyard garden behind the building, once a neglected patch of land, is now the regular spot for an outdoor ceremony under an old chestnut tree, with the reception hall right next to it as a rain backup.
Owner Fatma Şahin cooks alongside her staff in the kitchen for smaller parties and usually replies within one day. The hall is fully alcohol-free, has its own halal kitchen, and a prayer room next to the lobby. At 90 to 150 guests, it's just large enough for an extended family wedding without turning into a big hall.
