About the venue
Hotel De Vergulde Swaen consists of three adjoining 17th-century canal houses in the center of Den Bosch, with stucco ceilings and original fireplaces still intact. The enclosed courtyard behind the building, shielded from the street by high walls, serves as a ceremony spot for couples who want an intimate outdoor ceremony without onlookers.
The hotel seats 110 to 180 guests in the function room and has 24 rooms, of which the bridal suite is included with every wedding booking. Hotel manager Anneke van Dongen usually replies within two days and will arrange rooms for the whole guest list at a group rate on request. Dinner is prepared entirely in the in-house kitchen, with a bartender for the evening reception.
