About the venue
Hotel De Rivierkroon sits on the Merwekade in Dordrecht, where the ballroom is glazed floor to ceiling along its full width and looks out over the point where three waterways meet. At sunset the whole room takes on the colour of the water, and the river stays visible through dinner rather than disappearing behind curtains.
The ballroom seats 130 to 220 guests and the hotel has 40 rooms, so the couple and out-of-town guests can stay overnight without travelling to a second address. Events manager Willem van der Berg usually replies within two days and handles the full package himself, catering, bar and an in-house DJ, with free parking for all guests.
